Everybody Healthy Body has developed a Trauma-Informed Coaching workshop available to any coach and sport team in Butte County. The program uses the core principles of the Community Resiliency Model (CRM®) which is a skills-based program, designed to create “trauma-informed” and “resiliency-focused” communities.
The goal is for athletes and sports teams to first understand the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the nervous system, then how resiliency can be restored or increased using this skills-based approach. Coaches and their athletes/students will be empowered to experience a greater sense of control when performing sports and when dealing with adverse situations in daily life.
CRM® Skills Training/Trauma-Informed Coaching introduces the six-wellness skills designed to help adults, students, and athletes track their own nervous systems in order to achieve greater balance and return to the “Resilient Zone.”
