Chuck Nadeau – President

Chuck has worked in Business Development over the last 10 years in private business and is the Development Director for Ability First Sports, a local non-profit that works with adults and children with physical disabilities.

Kathleen Carpenter – Chief Financial Officer

Kathleen Carpenter believes you can get everything you want in life by helping others get what they want.  With over 28 years as a respected leader in the financial industry, she has focused on helping others reach their goals.  She brings this passion to the non-profit community here in the North State, currently serving on various boards.



Brad Geise – Secretary

For work, Brad engages learning organizations nationally and internationally to implement a framework for improvement that is focused on collaboration and data analysis to inspire and implement a shared vision. Otherwise, he advocates on behalf of youth athletics programs in an effort to provide essential alternatives and experiences for kids, families, and communities.

Mike Hernandez – Board Member

Michael has owned Chico Physical Therapy in Chico for 30 years and has been involved with competitive soccer and swimming for children.




Jovanni Tricerri – Project Coordinator

Jovanni joins EBHB with nearly 20 years experience in community development and nonprofit management. He specializes in coordinating and facilitating grassroots initiatives that require wide collaboration and civic engagement from diverse circles of community stakeholders to implement a common vision and mission. He lives in Chico, CA and is a father of 2 active boys.

Andrea Campos – NoRTEC

Director of Program Administration at NoRTEC

Andrea has worked in planning and economic development since 1990 for local governments, Caltrans, a private consultancy, and the United States Peace Corps. Currently she works for NORTEC developing strategic partnerships and solutions to meet the workforce needs of business and job seekers.

Audrey Taylor – Chabin Concepts

Audrey Taylor’s portfolio of work includes over 350 communities across the US, including Alaska and Hawaii, assisting with economic development roadmaps, key initiative development, industry sector strategies, comprehensive location assessments and business attraction plans. Her most rewarding work is reuse of abandoned spaces and assisting businesses with their growth plans – from locations to obtaining grants for development opportunities (over 50 companies).

Audrey has been appointed to serve five California Governors, is a frequent speaker on economic development and community readiness and assisted her clients in receiving over $62 million in grants for projects.



Bill Brouhard – Guillon-Brouhard Real Estate

Chico State graduate and resident since 1979, Bill Brouhard has been involved in the planning,
entitlement and development of many of Butte County’s largest mixed use residential, office and
industrial real estate projects.

Within respective real estate partnerships Bill serves as the development partner responsible for
planning and deal structuring, feasibility analysis, business negotiations and agreements and
organizing individual projects to accommodate the needs and objectives of the client and capital
partner(s). As of 2017, Bill manages and directs projects and activities covering in excess of $1
Billion Dollars in current and future real estate development opportunities.

Greg Van Dusen – Van Dusen Strategies

Greg is a father of three sons and a grandfather to four grandchildren. He is passionate about helping people and seeing great things happen in communities. For the last 20 years Greg Van Dusen has been a leader in the sports marketing and facility market. His firm is actively shaping the industry in new and innovative ways.



Jerry Hight – CSU Chico

Jerry Hight is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at California State University, Chico, responsible for developing programs and partnerships that generate resources and connections to accelerate campus and community aspiration.A thirty-year employee of the institution and proud alumnus, Jerry serves as the front-line corporate and community relations officer for the university.

PJ Santos – Thought Leader

PJ Santos was born and raised in Chico, CA and currently resides in Seattle, WA with his wife and two daughters. He has over 20 years experience developing major construction projects and blending private and public partnerships.
